Starting is technically free! But for success, a $500 launch fund is required. Here’s what that does:
- Front-end costs (giveaways, Bibles, snacks, swag, etc)
- Back-end costs (insurance, on-line tools, background checks for advisors
Okay, where do I get the bread, you might ask? Start with your pastor or your church’s missions team. Your church can be the life-blood to the success of your club in order to get it off the ground. We can help you with more fund-raising ideas.
Many students provide their own lunches and many chapters raise funds through a partner church, a small fundraiser, or a business sponsor. There is freedom in how you would like it to be structured.
Yes! A 5-minute meeting with your leadership team, and the building supervisor (principal or superintendant) that explains the club is student-led, open to all, and meets during lunch satisfies most districts.
Two documents. (1) Your school’s club form (from your principal) and (2) Impact’s one-page Chapter Affiliation form, signed by student leaders, advisors, and the principal. You should have this form prior to your meeting with your principal.
For guidance and compliance. Advisors help supervise lunch meetings, keep conversation on track, and coordinate meeting times, and room reservations. A teacher advisor also unlocks classroom space if desired. Start with your youth pastor as a great first advisor!
We can help! Impact’s staff can coach you on approaching teachers, or the club can meet in a common area with advisors until a teacher is on board. Lean on your Pastor, or Youth Pastor to help identify teachers if you’d like to use a classroom space.
Most meet during the lunch period. Nearly all Impact Clubs meet once per week, before school, or after school—whatever fits your campus schedule.
Everyone is welcome. Impact is student-led and interdenominational; students of any faith (or none) can join the discussion and activities.
They are five short faith points rooted in the Apostles Creed. The dignity of every person, the Trinity, the authority of Scripture, and salvation by grace through faith in Jesus.
Nope! (whew…) Student leaders guide the flow—icebreakers, prayer, short discussions, service projects. Impact provides ready-to-use meeting ideas for student leaders.
About one lunch period + a brief planning huddle each week. Advisors handle most logistics; student leaders focus on inviting friends and running the meeting.
We have many tools in our arsenal:

Once affiliated, you’ll receive personalized staff coaching to get you up and running in no time!
Impact carries general coverage; schools often require a certificate. A small share of the recommended $500 startup cost helps cover this. Many local churches are more than eager to parner with ministries such as Impact.
Of course! Impact can suggest engaging assembly speakers; the advisor handles approvals and scheduling with administration. Do you have a great idea for a speaker at your school? Contact us to see how we can help you make it happen.
Absolutely! Students keep their First-Amendment rights when they walk through the door. You’re free to carry a Bible (or a Bible app) and read it during any non-instructional time—think the bus, study hall, lunch, or before the bell—so long as it’s not disrupting class. Same rules that let others read a fantasy novel or check their feeds, apply to you and Scripture.
